How do I create a reel?

Open the Generator or Toolkit tab to start creating a reel using:

  • Recorded video

  • Photos

  • Device Media

  • Saved ideas

What are my Saved Ideas?

Your saved hooks and concepts are stored in the saved ideas tab.

What does "Ready to Schedule" mean?

These are exported reels that are finished and stored on your device album but don't have a posting date or reminder set.

What are "Scheduled Posts"?

Scheduled posts are reels you've assigned a date and time to. ReelIdea can remind you before it's time to post.

Does ReelIdea post Directly to Instagram?

No. ReelIdea helps you prepare and organise your content. When ready, tap Open Instagram to post manually. You can edit the captions box before copying and pasting directly into Instagram.

Why does ReelIdea need access to photos, camera or microphone?

These permissions help you:

  • Record reels

  • Import videos/photos

  • Save exports

  • Add sounds and media

ReelIdea only requests access when needed for a feature you choose to use.
